Saturday Shout Outs: Gabrielle's Creations & Dark Angel Accessories

Hey everybody! I hope you all have been having a splendid weekend so far. Today I want to share with you some very cute little jewelry shops on etsy. Both of these lovely ladies and I are on a few teams together and have had the pleasure of trading a few times now. I hope you adore their items as much as I do!

First up is...

Gabrielle's Creations (or G Creations) is a BEYOND cute shop! Everything is very kawaii and fun and ranges from jewelry to dog tags. Gabrielle works with clay mostly, but also makes things with resin and is based out of Greece. I seriously can't stress enough.. everything in this shop is adorable! She has a knack for food (obviously) as you'll see there are lots of tasty treats in her shop from brownies to spaghetti. It's so delicious looking I just want to eat it up! ;)

I was lucky to score some cupcake rings from her shop a few months back. Each one opens and is filled with scented shimmery lip gloss!! OMG!! You can't beat that right??

Check these babies out!

I got one in strawberry and one in vanilla. They have little sprinkles and cherries and flowers and omg are they cute! They are a little big... but I like that! I just gotta be careful not to be TOO rough with them. I could probably stab someone's eye out with these! (haha)

Here's some closer up photos:

Bottom line Gabrilelle's Creations are amazing and you need to check them out. Ya dig?

Next up we have..

Dark Angel Accessories collects a little bit of everything in her shop. Jamie's specialty is working with images behind glass in nice dainty cameo settings. She can customize these in just about any form you'd like from rings to zipper pulls to necklaces. Many of her items are spooky or nerdy in theme. See why I like her shop?

I scored this awesome ring from her awhile ago featuring the Eye of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. Too cool for school, am I right?? ;)

For an adjustable ring it fits quite well. I tend to have issues with these as my fingers are kind of slender, but this one fits perfectly and doesn't pinch my skin. It's also stood up to water pretty damn well which is amazing because I ALWAYS forget that not everything in life is water proof. (haha) Damn I've ruined so many things that way... Anyways, Dark Angel Accessories is a really cute and funky shop. Check it and send her some love. You won't be disappointed! ;)

New hobbit.town jewelry review on gatophilia!

Recently, I sent some cute creations of mine to the lovely Amber Chan of gatophilia. And what did she do in return? She wrote an overwhelmingly sweet and adorable review of my shop and items on her website gatophilia! How cool is that?? And in addition she even put up a permanent link button to my etsy shop! I allowed her to use one of my photos for this so now when you see this image on her website it'll directly link you to my shop! ;)

She also took a lot of really cute photos on her own of my items once they arrived.

I am just so happy that she loved her panda barrettes and matching ring. She even adored the packaging too which put an even bigger smile on my face. Anyways, if you want to read the review please check it out here:

I think it's just swell. :)

Drop Dead Dollie Etsy Shop Review

Weeee another week of fun! Hope everyone has been doing well. I have been aside from some unfortunate job stuff.. but at least it's given me some time to get caught up on other things. Gotta stay positive right? ;)
Anyways, today I'd like to talk to you about this bitchin etsy shop run by my friend Sara.

It's called... Drop Dead Dollie!

Drop Dead Dollie (very much like it's name) is all about dolls, "cute" dead things and other fun stuff along the lines of kawaii, gothic and lolita style jewelry. Sara is all about some Monster High and My Little Ponies! I bet you can see why we are friends already, huh? ;)

Seriously though. Sara has a huge collection of Monster High dolls, My Little Ponies and all kinds of other toys which sometimes find their way into her creations. Our styles are very similar in that we both love pink, rhinestones, skulls and Halloween in general. It's kind of awesome really because since we like each others items so much it allows us to trade and have fun. I love her crochet stuff too!! With the assistance of her grandma (omg! how cute is that!?) Sara has been able to make some very adorable crochet hair bows and other accessories. And what's even cooler... is that her sister Melissa (who also makes jewelry in her own shop Mel's Kawaii Shop) helps create stuff with her sometimes too! I SO wish I had that kind of family. It sounds like heaven to me. ;)

So far I've had the pleasure of trading/shopping with Sara two separate times. The first time I scored this super cute Monster High bat earring and necklace set...

And the second time I just couldn't help myself from buying this adorable Monster High vampire necklace... Honestly though, can you blame me??

I really really like the goodies I've gotten from her shop so far and they are all very well made too. I hope to do business with her again soon. She's just the sweetest person ever! And all of her stuff is cute as can be.

A few items on my wishlist...

This super cute MLP crochet bow bracelet!!!!

And this super cute MLP hair bow!

Oh! If only I had money.... sigh*

Saturday Shout Outs: Goth Dollie/Dollie Licious & Retro Curio

Hey everybody! Hope you've all been having a fantastic weekend. I know I have! I've got some fantastic shops for you to check out today. Hope you love 'em as much as I do!

First up is...

Are you looking to cosplay? Or maybe you like to randomly play dress up like me on a consistent basis? Well, Goth Dollie is just the shop you've been looking for. Run by the ultra sweet Liz, Goth Dollie features one of a kind handmade crocheted items from tiny doll clothes to gothic lolita style chokers and cuff bracelets. I just love it! Everything is so intricate and well made. Seriously, I just don't know how she gets these stitches straight!

We met (again thank you wear if you dare!) awhile back and happily traded for a team event. I was able to snag this FANTASTIC gothic style choker. Isn't it lovely??

I'm seriously in love with it. It's so elegant and even a little whimsical too. ;)
Liz also runs another shop on etsy called Dollie Licious. It is also filled with more of her lovely crocheted items, but these have more of a fantasy fairy type feel to them. Unlike Goth Dollie, Dollie Licious uses lots of color, hearts and in general more magic to make her items pop with happiness. :)

They can still be a little funky and even gothic at times though. That's why I also had to snag this darling little rainbow skull pendant from her during our trade. Isn't it precious??

I highly suggest you check out this shop! Liz has me "wowing" with every new post. I wish I could study as her young grasshopper so I could learn those bad ass stitches of hers!

Next up is..

Retro Curio is a very fun little vintage shop! I met Sarah (thanks WIYD!) a few months back and had the pleasure of trading with her as part of one of our team events. I love how her shop has so many strange little dolls in it! She has a bunch of other cute stuff too thought including this funky monk piggy bank..

...and this awesome Barbie thermos!

When I saw these Pee Wee Dolls though.. I knew it was fate! I was THRILLED when she said she would trade with me for them. Seriously you have no idea! I am SO freakin' in love with them!

Only one of them still talks. The other one probably has the ability still, but his cord needs to be re-attached first. No biggie! I just like starring at their pretty little faces honestly. (haha) Sarah has so many more cool dolls in her shop that I hope to own some day. Hope you have fun checking it out. ;)

It's that time of year again!

I have just been FULL of smiles lately! My favorite time of year has finally begun and that means Halloween gets closer every day. This of course also means I've been powering out horror movies starting with the Nightmare on Elm St. series which I must say I'm quite sad to admit I hadn't seen most of until just recently.

I've been LOVING IT! There are so many over the top hilarious moments in this series. Who knew Freddy could skateboard? Or even fly on a broom? It's like just when you think they've hit the top they surprise you with another priceless cheesy moment and I can't get enough. I've just got one more left and then it's on to Halloween (well after I finish Hellraiser... I'm already on 4!). (haha)

The only bad thing about this time of year is that I get ultra super excited and spend WAAAAAY too much money. I just can't help myself! I've always loved Halloween because of the decorations and the costumes and all the weird little trinkets. I will admit that my attire and house sort of SCREAM Halloween all year round... but that's only because I love all the decorations so much! And then when Halloween comes around it's like my normal times 10. Seriously, I've had roommates HATE me because I'd go BUCK WILD and decorate for Halloween (it's the only holiday I decorate for anyways..) and then insist on leaving it up forever. I mean what's the point in taking it down? It looks so cool anyways! I say Halloween all the time 24/7! I swear it was only 10% laziness and the rest of me was just digging those spider webs and blinking skulls. ;) Sigh* If only more people understood me...

Actually just the other day I splurged and bought a bunch of cool Halloween trinkets to make jewelry with. I also of course HAD to get some cute socks and stuff too though. I mean Halloween Monster High socks?? Yeah. You know I need those!

In other news... I've been working on a bunch of fun new goodies for the shop (mostly Halloween related... but can you really blame me?). I've also already begun registering for tons of art shows and markets starting at the end of this month. I'm so ready to start that back up again. It's going to be a blast! And you know I'll keep you all updated every step of the way. :)

I've also been having a blast with my super cute new kitty friends! I will say they are growing fast and already becoming crazy jumpin' jelly beans! But I can't seem to resist their cuteness. Even when they are being bad and chewing on wires they KNOW they aren't supposed to be playing with. Let's look at some cute kitty pictures shall we?? You know you want to! muahahaha

Luna enjoying her new kitty condo..

Flynn and Luna being bad and playing in the trash can..

Zora looking to the sky and plotting something very mischievous for sure..

And of course my favorite kitty naps!

Guh! Aren't they just adorable?? They kind of take up all my time now but I don't care. It's totally worth it. ;)
Anyways, I'm off to get crafty and productive before seeing Reanimator in fucking theaters!!! I'm so freakin' excited!!

Sauvage Raven Creation Etsy Shop Review

Halloween is near! And if you are even half as psyched about that as I am you gotta check out Sauvage Raven Creation! Sauvage Raven Creation specializes in unique gothic style art collage pieces. Featuring everything from art boxes to party hats, this shop has everything and everything you need "skull" wise. ;)
Seriously, almost everything in the shop has at least ONE skull/skeleton on it. Isn't that the best??

I've actually been an admirer of this shop for a long time now, so you can better believe it that I was quite pumped to do a trade with her! ;)

We met of course thanks to the Wear If You Dare/Dark Traders teams and traded as part of an event we did a few months back. Considering the diversity and sheer awesomeness of her items I must admit I had one heck of a time deciding what I wanted most. I ended up choosing this really cool Alice in Wonderland themed book coffin.

Isn't it gorgeous?? The spine of the book reads "Malice" and inside it features a dead skeleton of Alice along with a few mementos from her time in wonderland. I thought it was really clever and well put together. It is now prominently displayed on my desk and I often stare at it from time to time as I type away on this ol computer. :)

Some other items I really really want...

I swear! It's just so hard to pick a favorite from this shop! Because as soon as I do.. I find something else that's just a tad bit cooler. Or is it? I dunno! I just want it all! ;)

I highly recommend this shop! And this is the perfect time of year to celebrate and spread your love of skulls around. (keke) Oh wait... I do that all year long!
