Halloween is coming! I can't wait!

WOW! I can't believe my favorite holiday is almost here! I'm stoked. And thanks to Dragoncon this year I won't be needing a costume either. ;)

Today marks the very beginning of my Fall Jewelry line. It's been an ultra productive day today too so I've already got a bunch of Halloween stuff currently posted, but trust me there's SO much more to come. Be sure to keep checking in over the next week for some wicked zombie, bloody mary and obscure doll jewelry.

hobbit.town jewelry review!

Recently, the lovely Nenuka of Dolls Palace did a review of some of my jewelry! I sent her a few wacky pieces (which she loved) and then she made the rest of the magic happen. Isn't that cool?

Check out her lovely review here:

Also, if you are a fan of wacky and cute kawaii findings you should check out the rest of her blog. She's reviewed several other etsy stores and posts often about her amazing finds!

Here's a preview of one of the items she reviewed. Wanna a pair for yourself? Just click on the link below!

Only 8 more days!

For my birthday this year I decided to go all out and give myself the best present ever! A trip to experience Dragoncon!!! With only 8 more days to go I'm bursting with joy. Don't worry I'll post photos when I get back. :) But in the spirit of things I've found myself doing a lot of internet browsing for the perfect costume. Here's a few of my favorites:

A handmade Totoro costume!! How cool is that? Couldn't afford it for the con...but thinking about saving up for Halloween. Eek! Want one too? Check out her etsy @ pokcosplay

I swear someday I'm going to fulfill all my girly childhood fantasies and dress up as Utena! But for now I'll have to leave it to the pros with all their money and fancy costumes. I guess there is always next year..

Dang!! Looking for cosplay ideas led me to discover just how many different Sailor Moon wands Bandai produced in the early 90s and I gotta say I WANT THEM ALL! But especially the kaleidescope rod and the spiral heart wand! Oh man. I'm in trouble. Too bad they are all like $150+ each. :(

I'm back and ready for more!

Hey everyone! I know I've been very bad about posting so far, but I promise that is all going to change now (for real!). So if you are a fan of my jewelry or want to learn more about me then get ready for awesomeness!

From now on, this blog (still centered around my jewelry makings) will also feature posts about random internet findings, things I want, stuff I've bought, and awesome people you should know about. Plus more!

So tell your friends and get ready for excitement!

Lots of love.

WTF Fridays: Regurgitator

I've been on a HUGE MST3K kick recently and today when I accidentally came across this amazing video I just had to share it with you guys! The music video below is from up and coming Australian rock band Regurgitator's and showcases their new track "No Show". The video includes real scenes/footage from the classic Gamera film "Gamera vs. Guiron", but thanks to Regurgitator we can now see the classic monster flick in a totally new light. The revamped video footage includes neon paint, flashing lights and lots of fun. So get ready for 3 minutes of explosive action, cheesy monsters and a hellaciously catchy tune!
